Zenamu is a well-liked, yoga-native booking system from the Czech Republic, simple, honestly priced (free for solo instructors, paid from around $30/month as of July 2026) and fast to set up. It runs a lot of "alternative to X" pages, and for a single teacher it is a fair option. Where Class Booking pulls ahead is the wider studio toolset: fixed spots, family memberships, treatments and a full CMS.
Why studios switch
Studios rarely leave Zenamu over one missing feature. The reasons we hear are cumulative: a bill that grows faster than the studio does, a system shaped for operators much bigger than an independent studio, and support that turns slow exactly when bookings are on the line. Class Booking is deliberately built for the studios those trade-offs squeeze hardest.
A member keeps the same weekly spot in the same class, season after season, with a waitlist behind it. Zenamu runs classes, memberships and waitlists, but a reserved-recurring-seat subscription is not documented.
One paid subscription covers several named family members, each with their own profile. A dedicated family membership is not documented for Zenamu.
Treatments and 1:1 booking, a personal-training module, a full CMS website and seasons. Zenamu is deliberately lean; if you run more than drop-in yoga, Class Booking covers it without a second tool.
Riding schools, music schools, kids' classes and studios that enrol members for a whole season fit our season model and fixed spots. Zenamu is built around classes and memberships.
Zenamu's model is pay-for-what-you-use, from around $30/month per their public pricing (July 2026). Class Booking is Basic, Pro or Studio at a fixed monthly price, the same whether you have 120 or 850 members.

Honest take
We're not the right fit for everyone. Here's when you should stay with Zenamu.
Tell us when you want to switch. We export your members, classes, schedules and active subscriptions from Zenamu, import them to Class Booking, sit on a video call with you to verify everything looks right, and switch your domain over the weekend. Your customers don't notice.
It depends on your size. For a solo instructor Zenamu is free, and there we are not the cheaper option, we say that plainly. Class Booking starts at a flat €10 / £8 / $13/month; as you grow and add memberships, treatments and a CMS, one flat price often beats stacking separate tools. Prices as of July 2026.
Class Booking documents a fixed-spot subscription: a reserved recurring seat in a weekly class with a waitlist behind it. Zenamu has classes, memberships and waitlists, but a reserved-recurring-seat product is not documented. If keeping members in the same weekly place matters, that is a real difference.
On Class Booking one subscription covers several named family members, each with their own profile. A dedicated family membership is not documented for Zenamu. Confirm the exact behaviour with Zenamu if this is central to you.
Class Booking is studio-first: yoga, pilates and classes are the core, with treatments, personal training, seasons and a CMS available when you need them and out of the way until then. If you will only ever run drop-in yoga, Zenamu's simplicity may suit you better, and we will say so.
Yes. You export your members, class passes and active subscriptions from Zenamu, and we import them to Class Booking. Where a subscription cannot be moved 1:1, members re-enter their card once on first login, and we provide an email template you can send the day before.
