Staff and payroll
Every instructor gets their own login and portal. They swap shifts among themselves, and at the end of the month payroll turns their classes into payslips from the rates you set.
Instructors work in their own portal. Admin, revenue and every rate stay with you.
Create an instructor with their email address. They receive an invitation, set their own password and land in their own instructor portal.
Today's classes and the week ahead, the calendar, participant lists and check-in for their own classes, and messages to a class's participants by email and app notification.
Admin, instructor and member. Instructors work with their own classes and their own pay, never your revenue or a colleague's rates. Two studio-wide switches let instructors view every class or remove a participant with a refund.
An instructor offers one class or several. Every other active instructor gets an email and a push notification. The first colleague who claims it, and is not teaching at that time, takes the class over, and the original instructor is told who did.
Set a default hourly rate per instructor, and an hourly or flat per-class rate wherever a class type pays differently. Every class that isn't cancelled counts towards the month.
Generate a payslip per instructor with a line per class, approve it and mark it paid, which locks it. Export the month as CSV. Instructors see their own approved and paid payslips and their expected pay for the rest of the month.
Three steps from a list of names to a closed month.
Add each instructor with their email address. They set a password and log in to their own portal.
Give each instructor a default hourly rate, and a rate per class type where the pay differs.
Generate payslips from the month's classes, approve them, mark them paid and export the CSV.
Studios with a team of employed or freelance instructors who teach group classes, are paid by the hour or per class, and cover for each other through shift swaps.
Where we stop: three fixed roles with no custom roles or per-person permissions, and no front-desk role. Group-class instructors have no availability calendar, so you assign classes yourself. Pay is an hourly rate or a flat amount per class, not per attendee or with bonus rules, and payroll runs per calendar month for group classes. A shift swap takes effect when a colleague claims it, with no approval step. A chain that needs managers per site or an integration with a large-chain payroll system should use an enterprise system.

No. Pay is an hourly rate or a flat amount per class, set per instructor and, where it differs, per class type. Every class that isn't cancelled counts, whatever the attendance.
No. The first colleague who claims an offered class takes it over straight away, unless they already teach at that time. In admin you see every open and claimed swap and can cancel the swap or the class.
Their own approved and paid payslips, and their expected pay for the rest of the month. Never drafts, your revenue or a colleague's rates.
Not today. Every user is an admin, an instructor or a member. Instructors work with their own classes, participants and pay; everything else needs an admin login.
The export is a semicolon-separated CSV file: one row per instructor with classes, hours, amount and status, and each payslip can be exported with a line per class. Open it in a spreadsheet or hand it to your payroll provider; there is no direct integration with a payroll system.
